Mike ask me me to do a photoshoot for his family out in West Warren, UT.  We were hoping it was going to be a nice day to shoot around his farm.  A nice stack of hay bails in the background or maybe a great big barn full of horses.  Nope that didn’t happen,  the snow starts coming down as I was driving from Plain City to West Warren.

So we decided to make the best of it and shoot in front and inside his house.  I put my GH3 water resistant camera out in the snow with a tripod and turn on the wifii and now i’m also out of the crazy snow.  Controlling my Panasonic GH3 camera with my Iphone.  You can’t see me but I’m on the far left(camera left) of the pillar.

Mike’s wife, Shelly had this awesome barn door from her grand father inside the house, which was awesome for a back drop.  We use it to shoot the kids and it turns out great!  Note to self, don’t ever throw away old barn doors 🙂
